Barbecued Turkey Legs

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 turkey drumsticks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice

BARBECUE SAUCE:

  • 1 (8oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbls cornstarch or flour
 Method:

Cook sauce all together for 15 minutes on top of stove.  Arrange drumsticks in baking dish, salt and pepper to taste.  Pour barbecue sauce over drumsticks, bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.  Serve over fluffy cooked rice.
