Tetrazzini"
(Entree)
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
1/3 Cup Seasoned Dry Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Cup Half-and-Half
1 Pkg. (8oz.) Spaghetti, cooked
2 Cups Cut-up Cooked Turkey
1 Can (4oz.) Sliced Mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
1. Place 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Microwave at
HIGH for 45 to 60 seconds, or until butter melts.
Stir in
bread crumbs. Set aside.
2. Place 1/4 cup butter in 2-quart casserole. Microwave on
HIGH for 45 seconds to 1 1/4 minutes, or until butter
is
melts.
3. Blend flour, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper into butter.
Stir in broth and half-and-half. Microwave at POWER
LEVEL 7 for 8 to 9 minutes, or until mixture
thickens,
stirring every 2 minutes.
4. Stir in spaghetti, turkey, mushrooms, and parmesan
cheese. Cover. Microwave at POWER LEVEL 7 for 5
to 6 minutes, or until heated through, stirring once.
5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs mixture. Microwave,
uncovered, at POWER LEVEL 7 for about 2 minutes, or
until hot.Serving Suggestions:
- Serve with Garlic Toast
- Garnish with parsley
