"Barbecued
Turkey on a Stick"
(Appetizer)
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Oil
1 Medium Onion,
chopped
1 Cup Chili
Sauce
1/4 Cup Ketchup
2 Tablespoons Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Paprika
1 1/2 lb Turkey Breast cut into 6 inch strips 1 inch wide
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Procedures:
1. In large skillet over medium heat, heat oil.
2. Add onion and saute' until soft and golden.
3. Stir in chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and
paprika.
4. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes;pour into large baking
dish.
5. Thread turkey strips onto skewers.
6. Broil or barbecue turkey 1 to 2 minutes on each side,
until no longer pink.
7. Place in barbecue sauce and coat completely.
8. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) May be eaten with
fingers.
Make for barbecues or Superbowl parties
